A collection of photographs by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of Japan's leading photographers. This book was published in 2000 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Araki's birth, among more than 500 Araki photo books. Composed of photos taken with the Plaubel Machina, a famous medium format camera that Araki has been using since 1982 as a daily camera. 201 points arranged in chronological order are recorded. For this book, it seems that Araki worked on all the prints, saying, "I wanted to see my personal feelings" (from the obi). Most of the photos are from the 80's and 90's, but there are shots of his wife, Yoko, and his beloved cat, Chiro, at home (Yoko passed away during this period), as well as casual street corners. Bewitching women such as nudes and bondage, Beat Takeshi and Daido Moriyama are also shown. With more than 300 pages, the content is like an omnibus, with all of Araki's main motifs. It's a book. Designed by Seiichi Suzuki Design Room. Comes with an obi.
