"Signed, With OBI" is a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. In 2019, a new edition of "Mayfly" was published by Akio Nagasawa Publishing, incorporating new unpublished cuts, but this is the first edition published in 1972. 1972 was also an important year for Daido Moriyama, with his masterpiece "Bye Bye Photography", said to be his early representative work, published in April, and "Hunter" published in June. Mayfly was also published in June, and three photobooks were born in a single month in the same year. Mayfly is probably Moriyama's only "nude photobook", and features a woman in bondage as its motif. When talking about "bondage" at that time, the first name that comes to mind is "Dan Oniroku," but this book also sought the cooperation of Dan Oniroku, with landscape photography by Tamiko Nishimura and the unique layout, which includes contact lenses, by Shiro Tatsumi, just like in "Nippon Theater Photo Album." Comes with obi.
