Japanese photographer Osamu Kanemura's photo book "Stravinsky Overdrive". Born in 1964, Osamu Kanemura studied photography at the Tokyo College of Photography in 1989, although he aspired to be a musician until his mid-20s. While working part-time, he began taking photographs of the city, and in 1992 while still a student, his work was selected for the Dutch photo exhibition "Rotterdam Photo Biennale". In the year he graduated from school, he held his first solo exhibition and published his 1st photo book "Crash landing" in 1995. Since then, he has been selected as one of the "Six Photographers of the World" by MoMA, and has won the Photographic Society of Japan New Face Award and Domon Ken Award in succession. He is one of the photographers who are attracting attention. This book is a small Zine-type book composed of plates selected from those presented at the exhibition of the same name held in Helsinki in 2002. Monochrome shots taken in Tokyo, Osaka and even local cities since 2000 are recorded.
