"Tokyo Still Life (Acceptable)" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. Looking back at how many of Araki's hundreds of photobooks have "Tokyo" in the title, we find that they date back to his days with the photocopying group Gueribara's "Tokyo," followed by "Tokyo Elegy" (1983), "Tokyo, Autumn" (1984), "Tokyo Diary" (1989), "Tokyo Story" (1989), "Tokyo Nude" (1989), "Tokyo Lucky Hole" (1990), "Tokyo Weather" (1993), "Tokyo Cat Town" (1993), "Tokyo Love" (1994), "Tokyo Wind" (1995), "Tokyo Novel" (1995), "Tokyo Love Affair" (1998), "Tokyo Kannon" (1998), and "Tokyo Affection" (1999).... There are already so many in the 20th century alone, and if we include works published in the 21st century, there may be more than 50. This book is a catalogue published in 2001 for an exhibition held at the Ikon Gallery in the UK. Araki's major works from the 1960s to the 1990s are organized by theme. (Lots of damage)
