A collection of works by Japanese female photographer Aoko Sugimoto, "Intimidation and Furkin". Born in 1976, Sugimoto became independent in 2002 after working at studios in Japan and overseas. After that, he seems to have been active mainly in music magazines, but this book published in 2003 is probably the first book, one modeled on the avant-garde theater group "Furuzoku". The Fur group is a drama group founded mainly by Junko Emoto (presidency) and Lily Machida, who met while studying at Rikkyo University. Although it is a group of only female members, it is an intense individual group that merges eroticism and violence in an underground style, and it became a hot topic in an instant and mobilized 4000 people until it performed at the Shimokitazawa Theater in 2003. It became a popular "entertainment company". We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2020, even after moving to individual-based activities after 2010. This book contains performances from the early days of the members, mainly Emoto and Machida, and the book design is also very cool.
