Martha (Signed), a collection of works by British female photographer Cian Davey. Sian Davey was originally a psychotherapist with nearly 15 years of career, although she had studied painting in college. It was around 2014 when I started taking photographs in earnest, and in 2019 I had a solo exhibition at the Michael Hoppen Gallery, and now I have a collection of works at The Martin Parr Foundation. Basically, I have been creating works called "Looking for Alice" for many years, focusing on my everyday life such as family and friends, with my daughter Alice suffering from Down syndrome as the subject. During this process, Martha, another daughter (though Cyan is a stepmother), asked me, "Why don't you shoot me?", and this project started. It is composed of pictures taken by Martha for several years since he was 16 years old, and it captures the image of a girl growing up into an adult woman after adolescence. At the same time, through the lens, Cyan will continue his efforts to reduce the "psychological distance" with Martha. Signed by the photographer .
