A collection of works by Japanese photographer Kazuo Oishi, "Paris Collection 1981-2000". Born in Nagasaki Prefecture in 1945, after graduating from Hosei University, he was involved in performing-related television production and fashion-related event production, but in 1979 he switched to a photographer after shooting the Paris Collection. For more than 30 years since then, I have been shooting collection photos in Milan, London, New York, Seoul and Tokyo. Since then, I have been writing and giving lectures as a journalist, and continuing commercial work for fashion brands. As the title suggests, this book consists of illustrations from the Paris Collection up to 2000. KENZO's prosperity, Comme des Garcons who throw a stone in Paris with "Boro Look", the rise of Yohji Yamamoto and others, Japanese brands such as Issey Miyake exquisitely incorporating Japanese identity and futuristic modern elements have spread to the world. The 20 years of turbulence that are indispensable in telling fashion, such as the appearance of new generation designers such as "Marmes Margiela's "Hermes" and Marc Jacobs' "Louis Vuitton" for 20 years, are valuable. It is also a collection of records.
