"Infinity ∞ Body's Whereabouts" is a photo book by Miyako Ishiuchi, one of Japan's leading post-war photographers. In the early trilogy "Zessho Yokosuka Story", "APARTMENT" and "City of Nights", the invisible "people's activities" are depicted through the landscape of "towns" and "buildings". Since the 1980s, the targets have been moved to "humans" and "things", and "1.9.4.7", a close-up of the limbs of a woman who is the same age as Ishiuchi, "Scars" showing a scar, and the mother's relics I worked on "Mother's", "Hiroshima" which copied the relics of the A-bomb victims donated to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and the relics of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. This book is a catalog of the exhibition held at the Gunma Museum of Modern Art in 2009. The above-mentioned works focusing on "Involvement with the body" and "Where the body goes" from the middle of Ishiuchi are recorded. Both English and Japanese.
