Sappho's artist book "Sapphoism" is a French rock artist from Morocco. Before his debut, Saffo played guitar and sang on the street while taking acting lessons. He chose the path of music instead of acting, and in 1977 released his first album, Le Balayeur du Rex. Janis, the 2nd album dedicated to Janis Joplin, was recorded in London and featured New York Punk television drummer Billy-Fikka. He was the first Frenchman to perform at a live house "CBGB" in New York. It is also known in Japan that songs were used in car commercials. This book, published in conjunction with Sappho's first visit to Japan, includes interviews with the artist, introductions to song poems, and his novel "Sweet Roman" written by himself. He also contributed articles by Inuhiko Shikata and singer Kunio Tsukamoto, and interviewed the editor-in-chief of the French Rock magazine. The illustration on the cover is Sawako Goda, and Hidetaka was responsible for the shooting.
