In a separate volume series of "Atelier", which has long been published as a magazine for artists, No.47, published in April 1959, is a collection of nude works by photographer Hisashi Sugimura (1926-1991). The sequel to "Moving Nude" is "Nude Moving". Sugimura graduated from the Japanese Painting Course at the Tokyo School of the Arts (currently Tokyo University of the Arts) and worked at the U.S. Embassy while initially producing paintings, but joined the Democrat Artists Association Since learning photograms from Eikyu and others, I have been working energetically on photo production. In 1964 he resigned from the embassy and founded Sugimura Studio. He has taken many photographs of traditional Japanese culture such as pottery, sculpture, and crafts, and has published dozens of works. As the title suggests, this book contains over 100 pages of nudity beautifully created by women full of dynamism, but it is also a glowing book with a unique composition by stage artist Kaoru Kanamori.
