A collection of works by Japanese photographer Yoshio Takemi. Born in Tokyo in 1914, joined the Mitsumura Primary Color Printing Press (now: Mitsumura Printing Co., Ltd.) in 1930 and joined the photography department to learn practical photography skills. At the same time, Kozumi Nojima and Shinzo Fukuhara, the leaders of pre-war Japanese photography, founded a photography department at Kokugaigai in 1941, and Takemi will appear at Kokugakai every year since 1941. Has become a life work. In addition, when he studied under Nojima and was unable to work creatively due to temporary illness, he sent several invitations from Nojima (also introduced in this book). Basically, the work is centered on "landscape" and "still life," but it is fascinated by wonderful illustrations, including the beauty of monochrome shadows and the abstract and avant-garde depiction of pre-war styles. The first half is black and white, and the second half is color. At the end of the book is a chronology, catalogue, and postscript by the photographer. Signed by photographer .
