Japanese photographer Shoji Otake's photo book "Musicians of the World". Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1920, he filmed for publicity during the war, and after the war was commissioned by the Public Relations Department of the GHQ (Supreme Commander of the Allied Command), and came to Japan as a comfort for soldiers stationed at the former Takarazuka Theater. The women who dance and sing in the camera are captured. From that trend, in the 1950s, he published a series that captured the portraits of musicians from around the world who came to Japan for performances. I will continue. This book is a collection of portraits of "the world's musicians", and is a book from a series of well-known photographers who have been active since the war since the Asahi Sonorama Photo Book. A collection of works of the same name was published by the Asahi Shimbun in 1955, which is a revised edition that contains on-and-off shots of Herbert von Karajan, Alfred Colteaux, Leonid Kreuzer and others .
