This is a photo book “One Seed” which was published on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Osaka's amateur photography group “Grass Club”. It seems that the 3 clubs that were established in 1958 and led by Kametaro Kawasaki merged. Kawasaki is one of the main members of the photographer group "Tahei Photography Club", which includes Ueda Bizan, Yasui Nakaharu, Kono Toru, Shibara Osamu, Tanahashi Shimizu, and others, published in 1940 by Tanpei Club. In the legendary photo book “Hikari”, he was involved in editing as an assistant to Nakai Yasui. The Danping Photography Club has been a branch since the war, and many of them moved to the Spiegel Photographers Association, which was established in 1957. It seems to have been named “Grass Club of Grass” from Kawasaki's desire to be a photographer who deeply engraves the vitality that lives powerfully when stepped on like a weed. There are many great monochrome illustrations by profound gravure printing taken by members of the name. Kawasaki includes a unique portrait of Eugene Smith. Dissolved in 1986.
