“KURU” is a collection of works by Yamanobu Mishin, an artist representing Okinawa. Born in Naha City in 1937. After graduating from the University of the Ryukyus in 1961, became an art teacher and transferred to the Blind School in Okinawa. At my new post, I set up a kiln homemade and taught in a unique educational style and worked as a teacher for nearly 20 years. During his time as a teacher, he published a collection of works such as teaching at school and works by students through self-published publications, “Beautiful Kirihara Kamigami: Soil modeling learning and practice at Misaki Yogo School” (1979). The photographer is in charge of photographer Kenshihirashiki, who has been reevaluating in recent years. In 1982, he resigned from the school for the blind and engaged in activities as an artist. A solo exhibition is also held from the 90s to the 2000s, but this book is a collection of works selected from the Saki Art Museum during the first solo exhibition in 15 years since 2001, and was selected from over 400 new works.
