Japanese photographer Tomoyuki Oka's photo book “Bota”. Since the 1970s, the flow of “Off Magazine” has progressed, and the place to present the works of photographers and photographers has changed from “Photo Magazines” to “Gallery” and “Photobooks” (including self-published publications). Since the mid-70's, a little gallery has been launched by the photographer himself, who publishes special exhibitions and photo collections. A typical example is “CAMP” by Keizo Kitajima and Daido Moriyama. One of them is “Photo Gallery PUT”, which has been active for about 3 years since 1976, led by Tomoyuki Oka and Noboru Hama. There are quite a number of exhibitions from member solo exhibitions to projects linked to other galleries, and the photo magazine “Present of Vision” (1979) is also on the rise. This book consists of illustrations taken by the Oka from the 70s to the 2000s, and is a book published by the publisher “Photo Kobayashi” launched by Noboru Hama. We document after the “coal mine towns” such as Chikuho, which prospered in the “Coal Era” before “Petroleum”. It is not a heavy “record photograph”, but it is a collection of works that make a sense of sense and rhythm.
