A photograph collection "2 1/4" of the United States representative photographer, William Eggleston. Eggleston who began photography from the 60s under the influence of Henri Cartier-Bresson. Initially I was shooting in monochrome, but in 1966 I switched to color photography. The color photograph was begun to be seen by the curator of the photo department of MoMA, John Scherckski, and held a solo exhibition in 1976. This broadens the artistic awareness of color photography, and Eggleston is still a very popular photographer as a leading figure in a photography movement called "New Color". This book is a collection of photographs in 2 1/4 inch format, which I frequently used from 1966 to 1971 when I started shooting in color. The soft orange-tinted sunshine is impressive, but it is a wonderful book that cuts out American-style scenes such as American cars, signs, signs, and casual portraits with the atmosphere of that time. Published in 1999, first edition.
