Japanese photographer Kiyoshi Nishiyama's photo book "Shunko Akiiro". Born in 1893. At the age of 18, he entered a photo studio and acquired photography skills, and opened a photo material store in 1921. Nishiyama, who continues his energetic activities such as forming the amateur photographer group "Pleasant Club", exhibited his first solo exhibition at "Shiseido" run by Shinzo Fukuhara, a photographer who was greatly influenced by Nishiyama in 1925. Held. And in 1926, he published his 1st photo book "Kiyoshi Nishiyama", which is a compilation of his solo exhibitions. This book is a compilation of prewar, postwar and Nishiyama works. Before the war, the works presented in solo exhibitions such as "Bunraku" and "Nikko" were lined up, and after the war, it was divided into four parts, "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter". Contains works that focus on the features that remind us of the original scenery of Japan, such as Kacho Fugetsu and temples and shrines, and the emotions that appear there. Yoshio Watanabe, who is known as an architectural photographer, commented on Nishiyama's work, saying, "I have been able to maintain a truly healthy lyricism based on realism, not a realist idea." You can get a glimpse of Nishiyama's footsteps in search of new expressions, such as pointing the lens at the scene of Tokyo being rebuilt. (Recorded in The Japanese Photobook 1912–1990)
