"Time's Assignation", a photo book by Canadian female photographer Laura Letinsky. Originally from the prestigious Yale University, Retinsky is currently a professor of visual arts at the University of Chicago. Initially, he created intimate portraits for couples, but since the 90's he has changed his style and focused on "Still Life," which is now synonymous with her. This book is a collection of works taken at Polaroid from 1997 to 2008. Letinsky's still life, with its striking soft natural light, is portrayed as a more nostalgic scene by the monochrome depiction of Polaroid. Bright light causes the walls and white tablecloths to become overexposed, blurring the boundaries, and in dark places, dark colors and shadows blend together. Translated literally, "time allocation," this book impresses with the transition of light (the shadows that occur there), which is the most important factor for photography and for Letinsky.
