``Adieu AX'' is a photo book by Takuma Nakahira, a very popular photographer worldwide. In 1977, Nakahira succumbed to acute alcohol poisoning and managed to leave the hospital with impaired memory and language. Since then, he has put away the ``blur and blur'' that had become synonymous with him and continues to explore new styles. In the 1960s, he was shocked by William Klein's work, questioned the nudes of the time and photographers' strong self-consciousness, and continued to take "blur and blur" photographs as if to counter them. As a result, he felt that his subjects had become too anonymous, and that his work as a whole had lost its essence as a photograph. At the end of the book, titled ``Concerning self-transformation in the act of photographing,'' he states, ``Return to being a simple photographer, dismantle your self-consciousness, and create a new one.'' A series of works from the mid-career of reborn photographer Takuma Nakahira, following on from New Gaze (1983). ``Adieu a X'' means ``Abyo X,'' which means saying goodbye to the photos and various people I have taken up until now. First edition with obi.
