Japanese photographer Kohei Yoshiyuki's photo book "Infrared Rays". Originally from Hiroshima Prefecture, Yoshiyuki moved to Tokyo in 1967 with the aim of becoming a professional photographer, worked for a foreign news agency in 1974, and has been active as a freelance photographer since 1978. Making full use of infrared films and infrared strobes, it became a hot topic for photographs of men and women who nurture love in the park, and the "Document Park" that was published after that has received high praise overseas as a unique work. This book is Yoshiyuki's second photo book, and is mainly serialized in monthly magazines. The photo using infrared film consists of two parts, "suburbs" and "summer". The first part, set on the private railway line from the suburbs to the city center, is a decadent mood with female models in nude and bondage. With a vacant look, the second part shows a man and a woman meeting on the beach. The first part, which is a different approach from peeping, is reminiscent of Araki, creating an erotic yet art-photo atmosphere. "A full-scale photo book presented by Kohei Yoshiyuki, a dark magician. The wriggling of a nude woman and the fairy-like scenery ... Presented through a world infrared film with a unique feel" (from the cover).
