Swedish photographer Jens Olof Lasthein's photo book "Moments In Between". Lasthein grew up in Denmark and studied at the Nordic Photo School in Stockholm from 1989 to 1992. While working as a freelance photographer in media such as magazines and newspapers, he has been working on personal projects for a long time and presenting the results in books and exhibitions. So far, we have held exhibitions in Sweden, Denmark and Italy. This book is a collaboration with journalist / writer Jesper Lindau, and is a document of the former Yugoslavia that the two of us visited between 1994 and 1999. At that time, it was also the time of the Yugoslav Civil War, and this book also contains many photographs that convey such a situation. The pictures of the city have a disturbing mood, with destroyed buildings, armored cars, and cars that have been bombed or overturned. Even in such a terrible situation, it captures everyday fragments such as people's lives and children playing. It is a good book of social documentary that summarizes the trajectory of long-term shooting. (Published in Parr & Badger Vol II)
