American photographer Steve McCurry's photo book "The Unguarded Moment". McQuarrie, who started his career as a photographer in the 1970s and is also a member of Magnum Photos, has been active in the Middle East and Asia. Received the Robert Capa Award for covering the Afghanistan conflict before the Soviet invasion in the 1980s. In 1985, McQuarrie made the cover of National Geographic magazine a portrait of a young girl in a refugee camp in Pakistan, which received a great response and made her name known to the world ("Afghan Girl"). After 17 years, he reunited with that girl (Gula), and it was like a miracle that Geographic magazine and McQuarrie called for help for Gula, who didn't even know the reaction, and achieved medical support and a pilgrimage to the holy land of Mecca. There is also a story. This book is a collection of landscape portraits composed of illustrations selected from works taken in the career of nearly 30 years since the 1970s. Published in 2009, first edition.
