"As the Crow Flies (Signed)" is a photobook by two of America's leading female photographers, Teri Weifenbach (1957-) and William Willie (1957-). After studying painting at the University of Maryland, Weifenbach began taking photographs in the 1970s and has been creating works with nature and landscapes as motifs. Weifenbach's works are characterized by their vivid colors and pinpoint focus, and her photobooks have been highly acclaimed. Meanwhile, Willie studied photography at the University of Michigan and currently teaches at the University of Virginia, while continuing his own creative work with plants and nature as motifs. This book is a catalog of works published for an exhibition by the two at the Blitz Gallery in Tokyo in 2016. The two, who have been friends for many years and share a common philosophy in respect for nature, decided to hold the exhibition after a chance reunion in New York. The book contains a total of 35 images, composed of Weifenbach's color and Willie's monochrome. Limited to 400 copies. Signed by the photographer .
