Photo book "Kaze no Bon" by Taeko Ito, a Japanese female photographer. Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1936, Ito was an amateur photographer working at a nursery school in Ota Ward at the time. Before my 40th birthday, I went to the Institute of Contemporary Photography at night to study photography, and after that, I happened to see a photo of ``Etchu Owarabushi playing shamisen'' in a camera magazine, and I was fascinated by it. "Owara madness" began after jumping over and seeing the figure directly at the site. This book is a book composed of illustrations of the annual event "Owara Kaze Bon" held from September 1st to 3rd in Yao, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. Due to the influence of novelists Osamu Takahashi and Sayuri Ishikawa's "Kaze no Bon Love Song", the number of journalists and tourists has continued to increase every year. For nearly 10 years, we have witnessed the astringent song, the poignant kokyu, the tones of the shamisen, the graceful women's dance, and the heroic men's dance all blended into one without a moment's gap, and flowed down the slopes of early autumn. A precious record captured in a camera over time. A book that will fascinate you with the taste of good old Japanese culture. Edited by Koji Hashimoto and Hidenobu.
