Japanese photographer Masaaki Yamamura's photo book "Singed". Legendary photographer Masaaki Yamamura committed suicide at the age of 47 in 1987. He has been interested in photography since he was a boy, has a history of winning many monthly contests such as "Camera Mainichi" since he was in high school, and when he was a student at Nihon University College of Art, the U.S. military and his family who lived in Yoyogi Park at that time lived. He released a work depicting children playing around "Washington Heights" (published a photo book "Children of Washington Heights" in 2012), and after graduating, he will be active as a part-time photographer of "Women themselves". Since the 1970s, he has created plant photographs that effectively use strobes, and in 1979, the famous exhibition "Japan: A Self-Portrait Japan" was held by Cornell Capa and Shoji Yamagishi at the ICP. Has been selected along with prominent photographers. This book is a masterpiece of Masaaki Yamamura published in 1976 and is a collection of works that won the Ina Nobuo Award. As mentioned above, by shooting with a strobe in the daytime and drawing the background darkly, the vivid reality of the plant is depicted. A number of unique botanical photographs that are strange and even crazy. Limited to 600 copies. Signed by a photographer .
