A photo book of Hungarian photographer Lorinzi Giorgy. While working as a graphic designer, Giorgi started photography and was inspired by the city of New York, where he traveled in the late 1960s, capturing a number of scenes. After returning to Japan, I tried to publish the work as a photo book, but the avant-garde style that made full use of photomontage and solarization was not accepted in Japan at that time, and it took four years to publish. When it was finally published in 1972, it was instantly accepted by New York artists with surprise and excitement, after which Giorgi moved to New York. Since then, he has been active as a film maker and photo director. One month after the first solo exhibition in 1981, he died suddenly at the young age of 46, and his existence becomes a legend. This book is a collection of works that condenses the multifaceted charm of New York, which is woven by various cultures and ideas, and is a gem that feels the breath of culture around the 1970s. First edition published in 1972. Limited to 5,200 copies. Entering a number.
