"Skaters" is a zine created in conjunction with an exhibition of works by American photographer Larry Clark (1943–). Since his 1971 photobook "Tulsa," Clark has documented the realities of youth, including drugs, sex, and violence, from within, and is known as a photographer who keenly captures the reality of youth culture. This booklet is mainly composed of photographs of skaters Clark met in New York in the early 1990s and was produced for the exhibition of the same name held at ISETAN THE SPACE in Isetan Shinjuku. It contains photographs that capture the daily lives and physical sensations of young people up close, set against the backdrop of places that were hubs of street culture at the time, such as Washington Square Park and Brooklyn Banks. The content is also insightful for considering Clark's relationship with skate culture, which later culminated in the film "Kids" (1995), and it is a book that brings to light the urban culture and youth image of the 1990s.
