French photographer Yan Morvan's photo book "Gang". Morvan is one of France's leading photojournalist, and is also a writer and military historian. Born in Paris in 1954, he has been prominent in his works depicting young people living in the underground world such as rockers and bikers in Paris since the 1970s, and since the 1980s he has been a correspondent of the French photo news agency Shipapress. He is a talented photographer who has become an honorable permanent correspondent for Newsweek magazine in the United States, covering war and poverty issues from the situation in the Middle East of Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon to Thailand, including Northern Ireland. This book is literally a book composed of "gang" works. From the illustrations of Hells Angels and the rockers in Paris taken in the 70's to the street gangs from the 80's onwards, there are plenty of highlights in monochrome color. This book should be compared with Esai as Baitel "Zonen" and Ken Pate "Roquette Rockers" shot at the same time.
