"RFK" is a collection of works by American photographer Paul Fusco. Born in Massachusetts in 1930, he served in the Korean War for two years from 1951. After the war, he studied photojournalism at Ohio University. Fusco began working for magazines such as "Look" in the 1960s and has been a member of Magnum Photos since the 1970s. This book is a documentary that captures the mourners lining the road as the coffin of Robert Bobby Kennedy, the younger brother of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, is carried by train from New York to Washington, D.C., where he was assassinated after a speech he delivered. As the coffin travels by train from New York to Washington, D.C., people of all races, including blacks and whites, gather along the tracks, waving, raising flags, saluting, and weeping. Perhaps this is the kind of image that only Robert, who has worked tirelessly to end racial discrimination since his time as Secretary of State, could capture. For various reasons, the images taken at the time were not immediately released, and were only unveiled more than 30 years later, just before the year 2000. This is a revised and updated edition following the limited edition of 350 copies published in 1999 and the Trade Edition from Magnum in 2000. Hardcover. (Slight damage to corners of the back few pages of the double-page spread, no damage to the images.)
