"Cardboard Landscapes" is a collection of works by Italian photographer Luigi Ghiri (1943–1992). In this series, Ghiri focuses on "ready-made landscapes" found in everyday life, such as tourist brochures and postcards, re-photographing them to question how images shape reality. Since the 1970s, Ghiri has been observing the Italian landscape, saturated with advertisements and symbols, and has continued to critically examine the very act of photographic capture of the world.
