"Berlin: Deep in Thought (Signed)" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Toshitsugu Yamawaki. Born in Tokyo in 1956, Yamawaki also worked as an art director. He began his creative career as a full-fledged artist in the 2000s, releasing a series of privately published photo books in the 2010s. His diverse thinking and expression distinguish him from the traditional pure photographer, and his unique sensibility, cultivated through his self-taught photography, painting, and direction, is evident throughout his work. This is his fifth work, following "Dimension of Vision," "Dual 1 & 2," and "The Lost and Find." Following on from "Dual," this nearly 500-page, hand-made encyclopedia-like book follows on from "Dual." Taking Berlin, with its unique political, historical, and geographical cultural backdrop, as its motif, this highly engaging book presents fragments of the city in a multifaceted, multilayered, and multilayered way. Limited to 200 copies, the edition is numbered.
