"Few Loving Voices" is a photobook by Dutch photographer Peter Martens. Born in Rotterdam in 1937, Martens was a photojournalist active not only in the Netherlands but also in Europe and the United States. Active since the late 1950s, he was recommended as a member of Magnum Photos in the 1970s and a recipient of a World Photo Press Award. He was particularly known for his focus on minorities and outsiders, including crime scene reports reminiscent of Weegee, as well as investigations into non-events, such as homelessness.
