"Chronicle" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Motomi Takamatsu (1948-). Takamatsu studied optical engineering at Tokai University and worked at a professional lab before moving into photography. Since the 2010s, he has developed his own unique style through participating in workshops by Hitoshi Furugo. His gaze is fixed on the inconspicuous fragments of the city, focusing particularly on single buildings, meticulously tracking the changes in light, shadow, and the passage of time.
