"Tokyo: The World of Mesh" is a photo collection by Daido Moriyama (1938-), one of Japan's leading photographers. Daido Moriyama, who has been active at the forefront since the 1960s, is one of the iconic figures of postwar Japanese photography along with Nobuyoshi Araki. Starting with his debut work "Japan, A Photo Theatre" published in 1968, he has collaborated on "Provoke", and has produced many masterpieces, including "Farewell, Photography" (1972), "A Hunter" (1972), "Light & Shadow" (1982) and "Journey to Nakaji" (1987) in the 1980s, and "Hysterics" in the 1990s. This book is a small zine-type catalog published in conjunction with an exhibition held at Taka Ishii Gallery in 2011. This book contains 11 images that were presented in Moriyama's solo exhibition of the same name held at Nikon Salon in 1977.
