"Flowers For ______" is a collection of works by British photographer Nigel Shafran. Born in 1964, Shafran has emerged as a commercial fashion photographer alongside Juergen Teller and Corinne Day in magazines such as The Face and iD, and has also shown his outstanding photographic work in collaboration with fashion house brand LOEWE. He is also an artist who has provided a unique aesthetic eye with personal works that focus on partners and families, as well as on the details of everyday life such as washing dishes and charity shops, focusing on the beauty that resides in familiar and insignificant things. His previous works such as Ruthbook, Dad's Office, and Ruth on the Phone have been highly acclaimed. This is Shafran's fourth work. This is a sequel to "Ruthbook," and in addition to his wife Ruth, his son also appears in the book. It begins with a small album of simple flowers in a vase, and continues with scenes of his son eating, piles of laundry, and working in the garden. It is a masterpiece that shows Shafran's unique perspective of finding beauty and poetry in the mundane, everyday. Limited to 750 copies.
