The book "Document!! Night Park" was written by Japanese photographer Yoshiyuki Kohei (1946-) in infrared photography. Born in Hiroshima Prefecture, Yoshiyuki moved to Tokyo in 1967 with the aim of becoming a professional photographer, and began working for a foreign news agency in 1974, before going freelance in 1978. His photographs of men and women making love in parks, taken with infrared film and infrared strobes, became a hot topic, and his subsequent publication of "Document Park (1980)" has been highly praised overseas as a unique work. In 2007, an exhibition of his work was held at the Yossi Milo Gallery in New York, and an English version, "The Park," was also published. This book is a reportage of a "peeping shop" by freelance writer Kimura Wataru, and Yoshiyuki's photographs are inserted as illustrations. Although the content is mainly text, Yoshiyuki's photographs are also featured in the double-page spreads, making it worth seeing. "Secret Photography Techniques," which introduces Yoshiyuki's photography techniques, is a sister volume to this book.
