Chinese photographer Feng Li's collection of works, "White Night (First Printing)". Born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in 1971, Feng Li studied Chinese medicine and began taking photographs in earnest around 1996. He first worked as a civil servant in charge of photography at the Sichuan Provincial Communications Bureau, taking photos of technology hubs and high-tech sites. Then, in 2005, he began taking color street photos as his life's work, and this book was compiled in 2017 as his first book. The photography style is similar to the snaps that were popular in Japan in the 1960s and 1970s, but there is something different about the color depictions and the illustrations that sometimes have a story-like quality. "Like insects attracted to the glow of car headlights, strange animals stick to his lens" (Photography of China website). First edition published in 2017. Limited to 1,000 copies.
