German photographer Thomas Ruff's collection of works, "Thomas Ruff / Thomas Ruff (First Printing)". Born in Zell am Harmersbach in 1958, Ruff is one of the so-called "Becher School" who studied under Bernd and Hilla Becher along with Andreas Gursky, one of the leading figures in contemporary photography. Since the 2000s, he has also served as a professor at his alma mater, the Düsseldorf Art Academy. This book is a catalogue of works published on the occasion of the major retrospective of Ruff's work, which traveled from the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in 2016.
