"Portrait" is a collection of works by Australian female photographer Carol Jerems (1949-1980). A legendary photographer who died at the young age of 30 after suffering from an incurable disease. She was an artist who expressed the Australian subculture and women's liberation trends of the 1970s through portraits of young people, and although she was only active for about seven years, her works are excellent. Her only photo book, "A Book About Australian Women," released in 1974, has become a collector's item as a masterpiece. This book is a catalog collection published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the National Portrait Gallery in Australia from November 2024 to March 2025. It is a large book of over 250 pages that contains many wonderful portraits taken in the 1970s, as well as copies of contact sheets that have never been released before. Hardcover edition.
