"mame Personal Memory" is a collaborative photobook by Japanese photographer Jiro Konami and Japanese female fashion designer Maiko Kurokawa. This unique collection was edited and produced jointly by photographer Jiro Konami and Maiko Kurokawa, a former designer of Issey Miyake and now designer of her own brand "mame", who photographed fragments that inspired Maiko's collection themes. Kurokawa travels around Japan in search of seasonal images for her brand. For the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Jiro Konami visited the foothills of his hometown in Nagano Prefecture, where he captured images inspired by mementos of his grandmother and the rich colors and textures of nature, using vivid colors, reflections and unique compositions.
