"Girl Alice / Alice (First Edition, With OBI)" by Japanese photographer Sawatari Hajime. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Photography, he worked as an assistant to Takanashi Yutaka before going freelance. Since then, he has worked as a fashion photographer for many famous magazines, and in the 70s he made a name for himself by publishing innocent, beautiful, and sometimes fantastical portraits of girls and women such as "Forest Doll House", "Nadia", and "The Girl from the Sea". Since the 80s, Sawatari has continued to be active at the forefront, mainly working on works by artists and idols. This is his first photo book, which is a memorable one. The work was created with Alice in Wonderland as its motif, and was shot entirely in England, using 10-year-old Samantha, who was selected at an audition held in Alice's hometown, England, as the model. The luxurious cast includes planning and editing by Kuwahara Shigeo, binding by Horiuchi Seiichi, prologue by Takiguchi Shuzo, and poetry by Tanikawa Shuntaro.
