The Photo Image 3 was published by Shashin Hyoronsha in 1969. It was published by Shinya Yoshimura, a classmate of Eikoh Hosoe and well known for Daido Moriyama's "Goodbye Photography," and was co-edited by Kuwabara Koshio, who was primarily a critic at the time but would later become famous as a photographer, and Sasatani Mitsuko, who also worked as an editor for Camera Mainichi. It was one of the most representative photo magazines of the 1970s, and ran for 10 issues. This issue's special features three photographers, Kishin Shinoyama (work "Lili"), Ed van der Elsken (work "Degnified Peole"), and Daido Moriyama (collection "1969.11"), all of whom are introduced with abundant illustrations, as well as "Photo Image" by designer Tsunehisa Kimura. In addition, essays by Ikuo Kato, Kouji Kondo, Tetsuji Takechi, and others have been contributed, and texts by Kuwahara and Mutsuo Takahashi are also included as "quarterly columns." This is a very substantial book in terms of both illustrations and text. Signed by Kishin Shinoyama .
