A collection of works by Japanese photographer Hideo Takiura, "Tokyo Products (Signed)". Born in Tokyo in 1963, Hideo Takiura graduated from the Department of Landscape Architecture at Tokyo University of Agriculture, and after working at the Landscape Architecture Institute, he became independent as a photographer in 1991. He takes snapshots of landscapes, architecture, and cities, and has held exhibitions with the motif of "Tokyo". He has also made it his life's work to explore the possibilities of panoramic cameras, and in his co-authored work with Tatsuo Iwaoka, "Small Houses on the Street Corner: When a Home Becomes a Landscape" (2004), he used an unusual camera in which the lens rotates 160 degrees horizontally to capture a single image. This book is a companion collection to Takiura's representative work, "Tokyo Body," published in 2007, which was based on the motif of "Tokyo People," and is composed of illustrations taken with "Tokyo Things" as a model. It is a series of interesting photographs that capture fragments of street corners from a unique perspective. Limited to 500 copies.
