"Kura Chan (Signed)" is a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, one of Japan's leading photographers. In the 1960s, he published his first book, "Nippon Photo Theater," while searching for his own style after meeting Eikoh Hosoe, Shomei Tomatsu, and Shuji Terayama. In the 1970s, he collaborated with his friend Takuma Nakahira on "Provoke," and published the challenging work "Goodbye Photography," which overturned preconceived notions of photography. In the 1980s, after a temporary slump, he returned to his roots and made a spectacular comeback with "Light and Shadow." In the 1990s, Moriyama became active again. His activities have continued despite repeated trial and error, and since 2000, he has resumed the production of "records," and continues to release new works without stopping. This book is one of Akio Nagasawa's series of handmade silkscreen-printed books, and is a re-edited version of Moriyama's works published in issues 2 and 3 of "Provoke", including some previously unpublished works. Limited to 600 copies. Numbered edition. Signed by the photographer .
