"Sketch of Paris (Signed)" is a photo book by Sweden's leading photographer JH Engström. In an interview, the great Nan Goldin once said, "It's a wonderful work, but very difficult to understand," and that was my impression when I saw Engström's collection. Since his early representative work, "Trying to Dance" (2003), which became his breakthrough work, the difficulty has been upgraded, but in recent works such as "Day by Day," both color and black and white are of excellent quality, and he is a photographer whose "photographic skill" shines. This book is composed of images taken in "Paris," Engström's second hometown. In 1979, at the age of 10, he moved to Paris with his family, and also moved to Sweden and New York along the way, but he himself has stated that Paris is his second home. It is a compilation of selected images taken over more than 20 years. The quality is as expected.
