The Krazy House is a collection of works by Rineke Dijkstra, one of the leading female photographers in the Netherlands. Dijkstra has expressed her originality as a photographer and the individuality of her subjects by depicting the instability, change and process of people who are not normal through portraits such as the series "Beach" which photographed teenagers who were growing from children to adults, "New Mothers" which captured women who had just given birth, "Almerisa" which depicts the growth process of a woman, and "The Buzz Club" which is a video film of young people gathering at a club. This catalog was published on the occasion of an exhibition that traveled to the Frankfurt Museum of Art in 2013 and the Guggenheim Museum in New York the following year. The catalog also introduces her own inspiration and creative process, focusing on the video installation "The Krazy House" created in 2009 with the motif of young people at a disco in Liverpool.
