"La Maison de Rendez-vous (Signed)" is a collection of works by Kishin Shinoyama, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. This collection was published in 2016 on the occasion of an exhibition held at the now-defunct Hara Museum of Contemporary Art (Shinagawa). Shinoyama was invited to hold a solo exhibition by the museum's director, Toshio Hara, and when he visited the museum, he was reminded of the splendor and sexiness of the building and space that history plays upon, and at the same time, he said, "I want to hold a solo exhibition of works taken at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art," rather than exhibiting past works. This exhibition was realized as a result. While many museums dislike exhibiting nudes and tattoos, this private museum took advantage of its characteristics to create a rare work in modern times, in which female nudes were openly photographed outdoors within the museum. This is a worldview of eroticism that is unique to Shinoyama, different from that of Nobuyoshi Araki, and takes into account the fact that visitors to the museum will be surprised to feel that the work in front of them was created in the place right in front of them. Signed by the photographer .
