"Burn Overflow" is a collection of works by Takuma Nakahira (1938-2015), a representative Japanese photographer of the 20th century. This is a catalogue published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo in 2024. Nakahira tends to be overshadowed by the two giants, Araki and Moriyama, but he is undoubtedly one of the pioneers of postwar Japanese photography, standing shoulder to shoulder with them, and he continued to write not only with photographic works but also with radical "words and theories".
