Paolo Roversi (Par) Christian Caujolle is a collection of works by Paolo Roversi, an Italian photographer currently based in Paris. Born in Ravenna, Italy in 1947, Roversi became interested in photography as a teenager, setting up a darkroom in his basement and studying printmaking himself. In the early 1970s, he opened a small studio in his hometown, where he was invited by Swiss photographer Peter Knapp, who was the art director of Elle magazine at the time, to travel to Paris and take fashion photos for the magazine. Since then, he has stayed in Paris and is well known for his work with prestigious collection brands and fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle. This book is co-authored with Christian Caujolle, a photojournalist and one of the founders of Agence VU, a group of photographers on par with Magnum, and is a valuable record of the two men's conversations about photography. However, the text is in French. The collection includes over 30 fashion magazine covers photographed by Roversi. The book is small and paperback size.
