The Kimura Camera is a collection of works by Japanese graphic designer and artist Kimura Tsunehisa (1928-2008). After working at the prestigious Japan Design Center for a few years, Kimura Tsunehisa went independent and was praised as one of the four great designers along with Tanaka Ikko, Nagai Kazumasa, and Katayama Toshihiro in the 1960s and 1970s, appearing in numerous design magazines. He also became famous for his book covers for photobooks such as Ishiuchi Miyako's "Yokosuka Story," but around 1970 he began creating his own "photomontages," and in 1979 published his debut work, "Kimura Camera: Kimura Tsunehisa's Visual Scandal Parco View 4," as part of the Parco Publishing series. This is a collection of works with the "The" in it, released in 2006, and is a well-reviewed book containing 150 collages.
